AFAIK they rely on advetising to fund the system, and on users clicking the advertising links to generate the revenue.

There was a report of one recently criticising (sp?) its' customers for not clicking enough!

IMHO you're only going to get what you pay for.

Fig is right, freebb utilise a specialist browser which includes highly targeted adverts.

TBH, they wont last very long, and apparently their business is registered to a house address in London or somewhere.

Much better to pay for the real thing, although if other ISP's follow NTL we may soon be facing capping of bandwidth to 1gb a day, which is not much really. (yes i know it is much better than OZ, before any Australians say owt )

I have recently moved & had to leave a free 2 meg line

I have nothing in my new place & the kids are driving me mad for internet....the wife is pleased though as I'm not on scoobynet when I am at home

I am going to have to put my hand in my pocket then.

Wink

if I moved back I would get my line back & get rid of my huge mortgage & get a skyline/911 turbo.
wife had choice, big house or nice cars & holidays......guess who won.
