I was recently involved in a small accident where my front bumper was damaged amongst other things. I had to put it through my insurance company due to the crazy prices of Subaru P1 parts. Anyway, the bodyshop says all it is waiting for to complete my car is the front lip that goes on the bottom of the bumper. What I want to know is can the bumper be fitted without the splitter. The bodyshop has suggested they do this so I can get my car back. They say the splitter can be fitted at a later date. Are they correct?

Yeah i would say so mate. The splitter is bonded on to the bottom fo the bumper. So i cant see any problem in putting the bumper on, and then when your splitter comes, they take the car on and bond it on.

The bumper will definately go on without it.
