Hello everybody i'm new to the site as i've just got hold of my first scooby, obviously v.impressed so far- I've got a 1997 wrx grey import black and very beautiful but........ It's been fitted with a blitz air induction kit and the air vents on the bonnet which i've been told are usually covered have been taken off so that the outside air can get to the induction kit which is great but in heavy rain it will get wet, is this safe or am i in trouble? can the filter cope with a bit of rain or will this damage the engine. Has anybody else done this mod or know what will happen in the wet. Cheers for your help

See here for starters.
IMO water is a big no no for filters.
