Urgent Help RE Knock Sensor fitting

Hi, I have a MY99 STi Type R, and am in the process of fitting a knock sensor - please can someone tell me where the hell the knock microphone is located, BRD told me it is below the intecooler to the right of the engine, but I cant seem to see it - Please HELP!!!

Look at the inlet tract for No. 4 piston (on the red manifold), you should see a spare thread - Its about 7 inches due West of the Yellow washer cap.

I cross checked mine with det cans and can confirm that it works very well, unfortunatly

Did it!!! Stupid me was trying to look for the original to mount it near there, and then thought - Whats the point!!! Anyways, all fitted, and on highest sensitivity I can only get 2 green lights if I really gun it, so I am happy that NF + optimax is safe!!!
