I've brought myself a handheld noise meter and was wondering if anyone can let me know how different circuits test for noise????

How far is the reader from the exhaust, at what rpm etc!

I am not sure about this Dom, but I think it is one metre away and offset somewhat from the exhaust outlet-I dont know by how much though. Maybe a call to the BARC or BRSCC, or even the RAC motorsports division would help.
