Been going for years and last year was a classic. Not bothering this year though.

That is just the rumoured line up. Nothing will be confirmed till the first day.

Have a blast and a pint of hot cider from the cider bus for me..

Unhappy

I used to work at Glastonbury each year(stage crew) and saw it grow to the grotestque monster it is now. It's good if you are backstage with proper facilities (toilets and showers) and a bar, three hot meals a day etc.

Out front.....sucks!

Last year was great. The weather was glorious and the line ups were fantastic.

This year looks like it could be good but I can't make it.

Still, next year....

'97 was great (muddy), '98 was great (muddier), was living elsewhere 2000. 2002 was cool (sunny but chilly).

Got ticktets @ 945am Monday.... 4 x nos 9XX (cough)£450(cough)

Saw Radiohead in ?97? they set off a siht loada fireworks backstage

Saw a 2 hour set by Roger Waters (AKA Pink Floyd) last time They put Coldplay on after Faithless last time, I really like Coldplay, but live after Faithless they were a bit poo.

Can't wait. Hopefully some scouse c**t won't try and pi55 on my tent this year. I'm not camping anywhere near anything. hopefully all the ***** won't be arsed to walk there.

Gonna get there very early Thursday before it gets really busy and before all the firewood goes

I commuted in and out of the festival for the last 3 times I went and stayed in Five Star Luxury in a nearby hotel/pub I know.

Its the only way to do it.......also a few of the acts playing were staying at the hotel so we had some wicked sing alongs in the bar.

Glastonbury in the camping fields-those toilets-NO THANKS.

Top tip the only place to camp with any good toilets is the Kids Field. Very civilised.

Parents live neaby, so I duck out if things get messy

Nearly didn't get back in once though as that was a year when they gave you a uv stamp, that gets rubbed off made a good old complaint though Would have gone mental if I couldn't (legitamatly) get back in.

well, assuming that Ebay thing ain't a wind up, the point is to buy tickets then sell them at an extortionate rate. Having second thought about it now!

Any way, the point is to run around and hung as many trees in 72 hours as possible.

Seriously though, its hard to explain to someone who hasn't been, but it really is one of the best weekends of the year. With your mates, drinking, enjoying good music... I suppose that it just not some peoples cup of tea...

Well as I explained earlier I used to work the event as stage crew, so I got *paid* to go

What I mean't is that if they book dross like Craig David instead of say The Prodigy the event will attract the 'wrong type' of people. More like the Radio 1 Roadshow than a 'proper' festival IMO.

I always used to go in "over the fence" -actually I used to walk round the back of the fence and then pass under a bridge which got you inside the main fence. The superfence and security has put paid to this approach and the locals/organisers really are against people getting in for free due to all sorts of reasons. Having said that there are always scams for getting in- its just easier to buy a ticket these days. The fact is most of the "real" people don't go there anymore- they all go to other festivals and I don't blame em. Just a bunch of would be middle class hippies/yuppies these days a real shame. Personally I reckon the old days of anarchy at Glastonbury were the best. "Tear down the wall!"

How the hell is he going to cancel those tickets? I'm assuming the sellers aren't trackable that easily...

Also, the money for my tickets has already gone out of my account, making the tickets MINE to do with as I please.... One buyer could only get four tickets anyway.

And, if someone is prepared to pay that much let 'em do it. It is an auction after all, its not like the sellers are making them that much get over it!

Last time I went I just wore all my old stage passes from previous years and cycled straight though the farmhouse entrance without a pause

No-one batted an eyelid
