I hope someone can shed some light on my problem. I got Gatso'ed in December 2002 (77 in a 50 zone). The form came through and I filled it in, a fair cop. I sent the form back on December 20th 2002 and as we enter April I have not heard a thing from the police or the courts. Can anyone in the know tell me how long it takes to go through. I do not assume at all that I have got away with it as I think it may come back to bite me. I just thought I would have heard something within 3 months.

Don't assume anything mate, mine took 5 months to come back, both times!
I think they are allowed six months in which to tell you they intend to take action.
Not to want to be the bringer of bad news but i reckon you will get a court appearance and not just a fixed penalty.

If no proceedings within 6 months from date of offence, i.e. court date set or fixed penalty issued then case will be time barred. if time barred no proceedings can be taken after the period.
