they are very expensive aren't they? I had a real shock when I found out the cost of these items. By shopping around you could save I guess but I can never be bothered.

I wouldn't use "comma" oil if you gave it to me for free.......

Oil filter will only use Subaru genuine as I like my engine to remain working without a rebuild

Where do you get platinum plugs at that price?

Air filter same price I paid at for Subaru one.

Cool

You makes your choice and pays yer money!

I know "comma" isn't great, ok its pretty crap compared to Mobil 1 but when you do an oil change every 4000 miles it does quite a good job.

As for the plugs, like i said check out your local motor factors.

Bloody Hell!!

I'll dig my last invoice out to check but I'm pretty sure they were £4 + VAT each! give or take a pound..

I checked witht htem to make sure they are the proper, platinum tipped ones so maybe I'll start selling service kits??

One of the vendors on Scoobyshop sells four plugs for £32 IIRC
Good value IMHO..

Why skimp on oil?? put the proper stuff in and dont end up asking yourself why you should have put it in when your engine starts knocking.
Comma oil may be fit for some cars, but...
I get a can of COMMA 5w/30 for £6 trade, and in my experience you get what you pay for.. Anyone putting £6 oil in their car may as well buy oil from a petrol garage forecourt and put it in .
I'm not saying that you shouldnt put it in your car as everyone makes their own choice but i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone!!

had cav turbo before and trashed engine when beasting the car, bad quality spark plugs and wrong fuel as in not super plus was a big part of the problem cost £2k to repair is it worth skimping on the good stuff, silkolene oil and good quality platinum plugs, its frightening the cost but its cheaper thatn paying for an engine rebuild because you melted your spark plugs
