All we don't do is sell new cars.

recently got myself a turbo 2000 yr 99 it great but need a service soonish. anyone know a good dealer in the city?

 

There is no more dealers in central London that I know of, so I will be using Scoobysport and PE for services from now on.

Lavender Hill are still authorised to do servicing or at least they were in January when I had mine done.

 

David, any idea how long you will be a dealer? Rumour has it from IM is that they want their dealers to carry £x amount in cars to sell and if you dont, they will try and cancel your dealership.

That was one of the issues with Ace Kensington

 

I always used to get mine serviced by Ace Kensington - they seemed sort of ok, but what do I know, I've never used anyone else. They are no longer an official dealer I think, but are the same team - rebranded Ace Acton.

New official dealership in central london is Hunt and Keal, just bought my Sti8 off them. dont think they have much experience yet though. time will tell if they can service the car appropriately

 

Ace Acton is not the same team as Ace Kensington.

Don and Hugh the receptionists are from Ace Kensington but they will be leaving soon. All their mechanics have left and all their parts people!

Dad used to be the workshop manager there and he now works round the corner as does Subarus at AnG Services (my uncles company whcih is bigger than Ace). And they are going to take on the other mechanics that worked at Ace Kensington.

Ace Acton is dead! They are trying other cars now cause Subarus wont go there. Hugh and Don can sweet talk the jobs in, but the mechanics are newbies and cant do basic subaru service work!

Also Victor the mechanic who knows alot is leaving this month!

Hi Paul,

AnG Servicing can service Subarus. Like i said, at the moment dad works there and runs 12 mechanics which was bigger than Ace. At the moment they can do servicing and bodywork but cant do warrantys. As dad has been in the business with Subaru for so long, he has some good connections at IM. So when they get their new place, they will be able to do warrantys.

If you need any info, drop me an email mate. Ive sent a few scoobs there and they have been happy Especially when they know they get they get the same service from a dealer only its half the price! lmao

 

Your new car-as in warranty work, the only place i can think of is Malborough. We know the guys there so might be able to sort you out some sort of discount.

If its a new car as in its your new car and doesnt need warranty work, then AnG will sort you out

 

AnG are the real deal. After something like 8 years (don't quote me) of main dealer experience at what was Ace Kensington, these guys know their stuff. What's more, they are not interested in taking more money from you than you need to spend. 'Nuff said.

Yep Ace were one of the first dealerships to deal with subarus in the country and dad has 2 tonne of certificates from courses. 30 years of mechanics though - sick aint it! lmao
