I have got the magnex 6 x 4 backbox at the mo and it sounds pretty good. When I originally got it I was looking at the blitz which I am planning on getting shortly. Much more noise. Magnex centre is reasonable for £55 ish for the un resonated version and that will help a bit with power and noise. If you use the search engine you will find loads of opinions on exhausts. As long as you get a decent quality most seem ok. Been happy with the magnex but should have got blitz forst time around.

Cheers

Marc

Had magnex 3.5" round tailpipe. Sounded great, but too noisy inside the car for my liking (I have MY98 5 door). It boomed at 3000RPM which is apparently very common for replacement exhausts on the Scooby 5 door. Now have PPP backbox, sounds great, and is only loud (sounds louder than magnex) when at full chat. Nice and quiet and burbly when generally driving.
