Is the std P1 backbox stainless steel

The one with STi stamped on the tailpipe, is it stainless or is it mild steel as per the normal twin pee shooter type ?

I it mild steel.

Looks nice and sounds slightly nicer than the pee shooter..

My turbo spooled a little quicker than the pee shooter but that might be due to the pee shooter having done lots of miles..
but I thnink the P1 box is a little freer flowing..

It is an STi back box basically.. and identical to as fitted to any classic STi etc...
