Fuel Cut Defencer

hi guys have had a Fuel Cut defencer put on my car along side a dawes device. Full decat scoobysport downpipe.
The only thing is with dawes closed engine runs at 1bar boost.
as soon as we try to open it the bar jumps to 1.6bar boost.
any ideas.

You have a boost gauge, right? Try placing a straight hose between turbo outlet and wastegate actuator instead of the Dawes. You shoul peak at around .7bar.
If so, dunno - try fitting the Dawes round the right way...maybe?
