The forge one is reasonably loud, but nowhere near as loud as a HKS. Personally, I wish I had bought a HKS. Instead I am thinking of modifying my forge one because the air pressure coming out of the valve is the same, just the way it comes out...

HKS SSQV is about £280

Turbo XS is about £150 www.impossible-performance.cwc.net/turboxs-fame.htm

Most can be bought here www.performanceexhausts.net/dvs.html

so people say...! mine is fine and has been for over a year, my fueling was said to be spot on at a rolling road session... My oil doesnt smell of fuel e.t.c....

You can buy a recirculating DV if its a problem... most of the jap dump valves have recirculating kits that can be bought either seperatly or as part of the kit.

I stuck with a normal OE one as I didnt want the noise and the fact a good one is the best part of £300 for no real gain IMHO.

I looked it to dump valves when i bought one. HKS seemed the best as with some of the others, people had idling problems (especially with the HKS).
