I have an oil leak on my MY98. It leaking from the metalwork just below the oil pressure sensor. I have cleaned up the area and it not comming from the pessure sensor, it is actually leaking from what is a smooth bit of the engine below that! Result is the oil leaks onto the exhaust and produces clouds of smoke everytime I stop.

Has anyone had a similar problem and do you have any ideas how I can fix it?

Mike.

I've seen this on mine but its more of an occasional weep. Suspect it may be the PAS pump. Its drive has a elastomer seal which I think is the source of leakage. You may be able to replace it in situ by taking off the drive pulley ?
