Can anyone verify that my '97 jap sti comes with 530cc injectors already fitted - I seem to remember reading somewhere that it did but can't now find the info....

Nope 440's mate, the STI7 onwards are fitted with 530's IIRC..
Is deffo the later STI's with the bigger injectors mate..
