Hello everybody...

I have Prodrive ECU, Prodrive backbox and intercooler elbow, basically I think the PPP upgrade, which I think is about £2000ish from pro-drive direct. How much could I sell the package for? Since I am getting a Link, a ScoobySport rearbox and Samco hosing?

also where can I get the Link ECU From?

thanks guys...

BRD
For the Link stuff and Bob's mapping skills

I would guess at around £600 - £700 for the PPP kit

It is going up to Clarke's this weekend for some work, (not ecu) and they recommended selling the ppp as a job lot and replacing with other components matched to the new upgrade path (That is a quote btw, I don't know what it means!!!! hehe)

So, I will post up when it is for sale, but you guys who showed interest will be 1 and 2 on the list...

hope I am working the board right like that (first time!)

Well, this weekend is: lightweight flywheel, AP Organic clutch, lightweight front pulley's, twin dump downpipe, cat removal pipe

Next stage is Link ECU, Magnex rear box (to match the rest of the exhaust) equal length manifold, appropriate up-pipe, FMIC, large Turbo+Injectors, Large Fuel Pump, basically everything to take it up to the reliable limit with the standard internals which I think is about 320-350bhp. THEN.... when funds allow, the forged internals for 465bhp, as per Clarke's 465bhp monster!!

Equal length headers smooth the pulse of exhaust gases going into the turbo giving smoother and quicker spool up.

Also, have you seen one? they loko really cool! Unfortunately they cost an arm and a leg, but are worth about 10-15bhp in conjunction with a good up-pipe!

The whole exhaust for a scooby is really expensive must be about £2000 for the whole lot, but worth about 45bhp in total!

Oh, also Clarke's said that when you change the headers to equal length, the engine stops having that distinctive scooby sound and develops a more Porsche 911 sound, which I quite like!!

...but I am doing the mod for the 15bhp honest!!

yes i have seen eq and uneq headers and they look so cool but wouldnt go for the eq length do to loosing the distinct scooby sound

i have been tempted to go for the HKS headers and up pipe to compliment the HKS d/p and system but as u say they r very expensive and £1500 is a little too much for me at the mo.

win the lottery and i'd go for it
