Question

Please, your help is needed.

For a while know i've been noticing a noise coming from my front drivers side wheel when turning left. At first it was only on full lock (like when parking) now it's getting louder! you can quite clearly hear it when exiting round abouts/turning left at junctions now.

It sounds like a creak (squeaky spring) every time the wheel goes round, i.e. the faster your cornering the faster the creaking, creak..creak..creak, you get the idea. when exiting a fast roundabout it sounds like a steam train, turn the steering wheel striaght and it's gone.

any ideas? it's starting to get embarasing! c.v. joint/driveshaft/a suspension component?

Thanks in advance, Roy

Had the same prob on my blobeye ..was driving me mad ....started with getting new discs and pads and didn't help ...new calipers didn't help ....new brake lines ..didn't help ..got rid of the squeak from the front as I thought it was by loosening the handbrake and that stopped my squeak when turning and was sure it was from the front right but the handbrake cured it ....also forgot got new bearings and that never fixed it either .....I. would say first thing I would do is service ur brakes and recondition the calipers and if no joy then cv joint ...the cv joint is what's getting done next
