Do the sport models produce the same deep burbling noise that the turbos do. Just standard ones with no performance exhausts?

 

Yes they do..
Apparantly it is more the un-equal length headers that cause the burble rather than the flat 4 configuration, although I'm not to sure about the truth of that

SWRTWanabe used to have a sport and it used to burble (not to quite the same extent though )
