93Wrx Coilpack problem
Sorry, I know this has probably been covered, but my car is running on 3 cylinders
Where is the cheapest place to buy one from? Mine all look in OK condition, I guess it's a case of taking one off at a time to see if it runs any better or worse?
They are such a bitch to get to, I hope it's a coil pack gone down, and not someting more expensive, btw I just replaced my spark plus with some Champion Plat tipped ones, do you have to set the gap a tall, or leave as is?

prob. best to gap the plugs, cant remember the gap but someone on here must.
guessing you have damaged a ciol pack taking them off, it may look ok but gone inside, they are probaby origional so 10 yearsold, I had this problem couple of months back, got a second hand set from the for sale section.
cheers

It was missing already
But every once in awhile, but after an afternoon at Brands hatch it seems to have broken down completly.
Just trying to find a place who has them in stock and at a good price

They don't usually show any problems until you disturb them to change the plugs. Try and at Grade-A Subaru on 01663 744114 for used ones, or Josh at Graham Goodes for new (think they're about £50, but a worthwhile investment)
hope this helps,

Deano, one of mine had packed up when i bought the car
I changed the plugs myself to start with, and on doing so,worked out what cylinder was not firing! Took it to my local dealer, told them what one it was, picked the car up the following day all fixed. The new coilpack cost me about £48,and they only charged me half hours labour!!!! Result!
