just a silly idea!,i have a 1.8 wagon that dosent go so well as you might expect it revs its **** off but lacks bottom end and midrange,i have toyed with the idea of shoving an early wrx engine in it but i would need the ecu exhaust intercooler etc,my silly thought is this,i have owned turbo cars with solenoid operated waste gates and vaccum operated ones, does anybody know whether it would be possible to put a turbo on my engine with the correct manifolds etc,ok i know its not made for it but if its possible it would be a fun thing to do,the reason i was thinking about a vaccum operated waste gate is in case the scooby one was a solenoid type, which i dont know but would expect it to be,and then i dont need an ecu,ok i know ive got to know how to blow it into the engine and the oil feed and return pipes and so on,just a silly idea like i said!

You could try Subaru Greece
When I was there on Hols I saw some 1.6 Impreza's
with Turbo kits fitted .It is a full after market
kit they offered to boost the performance of the 1.6
