Question

GH is talking of an Anfield clearout, lining up those that are the weak. Well here's my weak ones that would face the chop:

Traore - worst defender I've seen since Kvarme
Smicer - never fulfilled, always played better for Czech republic
Biscan - Milan were chasing him once, they were lucky !
Diomede - he's on loan, might as well be 1 way ticket Bernie
Heskey - He can't work out why he is having a bad season, I can, your crap !
Diouf - The new Heskey, can't cut the mustard in the Premiership

oh and perhaps GH himself......

Probably give Cheyrou and Diao another season.

Would like to see more of Partridge, Baros and Mellor.

Any views ?

Agree with all of them but would like to add

Berger
and sometimes Murphy [when he keeps doing his invisible act]

Phil Thompson should go, he should take Gerrard as well. Steven Gerrad should hang his boots up. I watched some of the game tonight and saw his two footed lunge on Fabrice Fernades?. Wait till Roy Keane shows Gerrard who's the daddy.

See Jari made a few nice comments recently, even mentioned he would come back, thats whats been missing to me, a good playmaker like Litmanen sitting in front of the back two with three in midfield or 4-4-1-1 if you're playing away from home.

Pure class that guy and totally amazed me every time I saw him play at Anfield.

As the 'pool head toward mid table mediocrity a clearout is essential - otherwise your good players will start to walk away.

GH needs to sort it out or he will go - How does Martin O'Neill sound - loads of rumours about him up in Glasgow !!!!

Hmmmmm - You heard it here first ....

Mr O'Neil was supposed to have a talk with the chairman about his new contract.
He will be going to Manchester United in the summer with Sir Alex moving upstairs. When originally approached by MUFC, Mr O'Neill said he would honour his contract at Celtic before making any moves.
This is why Sir Alex is on a year by year contract.

Mr Houllier will not lose his job, Liverpool will [they bloody better] make Champions League next season after getting rid of some of their under acheivers. Step forward El Haji Diof ...

i am still mystified as to why heskey commanded such a transfer fee when liverpool signed him.....and why sven persists in picking him...he's a good player but is not a natural striker imho....

and for such a big bloke he goes down like a sack of sh*t when he get's the lightest of touches....

IMO he always looks like he is knackered when he plays, he sort of 'lumbers' across the pitch. Just hope Mellor starts tonight!

There's been a lot of **** between the Blades and Pool over the two weeks, thank god it got sorted out today. Warnock's a right pillock.

As for Heskey, I may have to take him off my list, quite impressed with his last two games, but then he has played down the centre for a change. I think he used to fall over a lot when he arrived, but GH sorted that out and have never seen those skates since.....I'll keep him for another year as number 3 striker.

Here's my choice

Owen
Baros
Heskey
Mellor
Diouf
