Sometimes when i go to overtake, when the turbo would normaly spool up, it seems to run at say 0.5 boost.
(feels slugish,but no missfire or jerkyness) To get it up to the norm of about 1.2/25 I release the gas and put my foot down again and then the car peforms as normal.
This only happens say once or twice in about 2 weeks. Is this sometimes the joys of having a turbo or am i faced with a possable problem.
Please reply diplomaticly as my car bank money is getting a bit low and i want to spend it on other things..........

If it happens in second gear where you've held the revs for a second or 2, then you have nothing to worry about. They all do that sir! Its either to do with emissions check / sound check. I can't remember as I'm wrecked

 

If you hold 2nd gear / 50kmh for 3-5sec prior, and then boot it, it will do this. Repeatable everytime!

Its the trick they use to get round the 50kmh Euro drive by noise test.
