My power steering (94 WRX) is leaking and I am not sure where from! It looks like the reservoir is in two parts, and I am wondering if it is leaking from the join. Does anyone know if it actually is a join or just where the bracket attaches?

Thanks for any info

Neil.

PS Anyone got a spare reservoir they want to sell??

the pas res sits on top of the pump.between the two is an o ring available from a dealer, they perish and need replacing periodicly.there is also another o ring on the stem which is not available from subaru so get down to halfords and get some assorted small ones.remove pas fluid with a syringe or turkey baster, undo 3 bolts on the cradle and remove res.replace o ring on top of the pump and on res arm, refit.get a m8 to turn the wheel while replacing the dextron2,3 fluid to help prevent air locks.
job done
