two scooby drivers need help with size

can you help
i'm about to buy some wheels for my classic off a sti7 but they have 17/225/45 rubber on them will they fit mine?
need a quick answer lads

No... tyres are two high a profile and too wide..

You need 215/40/17 or 205/45/17 for the Classic shape Impreza..

There is more choice in 215/40/17 so alot of people run these.

You could buy them and sell the tyres if they have lots of tread to someone with a new shape..

Question

JGM,

I think you are confused here. The question is reffering to the size of the wheels and if they will fit a classic. He is not asking is the tyre size will suit a 17" wheel from a classic.

Am I wrong?
