Hi everyone,
can't decide between the above two cars, anyone have experience of both?
How would they compare in terms of raw acceleration, road manners/ride and running costs?
Any thoughts appreciated!

STi/PPP believed to be more accelerative (some debate as to how much), better roadholding, better OEM brakes, better lights, better build. Not so much presence/'cred'. Also, of course, inevitably newer!!!! Plenty of P1s have been modded to reduce the difference, tho'

I'd REALLY LOVE a P1. I suspect, however, if I was to compare again, the STi/PPP would shade it. So I'm happy (now I've got the PPP: it was a MUCH closer thing with the unmodded STi)

NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER!!

Without PPP the P1 blasts the STI UK. I have a P1 but just ordered the MY03 plus PPP. I would not have done this had the PPP not been available.

Simple choice but do get rid of the std downpipe and brakes.

No doubt,P1 much better in terms of raw acceleration than non PPP STi UK.

Wink

P1 better PTW than either an STI7 or STI7 PPP.

Weight is the enemy of any sports car
