Car MY94 Jap Import WRX.
Sorry to post here for technical problems but I have been having the intermittent problem of when on flull throttle the car cuts off and on the power it was so intermittent it used to happen one day and not the next now I have had my plugs changed to HKS Racing gapped at 0.7mm. Its not fuel cut power seams to come in and out.
Now its even worse so maybe when one of the coil packs was taken off it got even worse.
Just wondering if this is what happens when a coil pack is on its way out.
p.s on partial acceleration it seams fine !

Coil packs are pretty poor on the older cars.
Try this thread coilpacks .
