I'm thinking about doing something with my scooby's air intake and I am looking for info on air induction kits....

What induction kits are recommended. Santa doesn't have a lot of cash so £150+ kits are too pricy.

Any known problems after fitting an induction kit?

Will it have any impact on my Subaru warranty?

Thanks

Only real problems will be MAF sensors. My MY00 has been more than happy (touches wood) with the K&N 57i for the last 3 months or so.

I assume that if the MAF sensor takes a dive the induction kit will mean it's not covered by warranty....

How much does it cost to fix a MAF sensor?

If your MAF fails it could take your engine with it so you are not just risking £70. K&N 57i as mentioned seems OK, APS one that fits in the wing also good, but if you don't remap it your engine could well fail.

Hmmm, doesn't sound so good now

How about cat replacements and down pipes? Risk free upgrades that liberate a few horses?

Pretty safe on a UK car except you lose any warranty you have.
