MY02 WRX. I would like to be able to top up my gearbox oil (it is quite near L). I need a funnel to access the dipstick hole. Must have a long spout to reach, but be wide enough to let the oil flow. Infrequent use so cheaper the better.

Any recommendations?

What volume of oil is required to go from the low to full marks on the dipstick?

Most pots of oil that you will buy, should come with a spout, like a long bit of pipe, you should be able to use this to get the oil in the filler.

scooby do is right-best to use a funnel and halfords do sell a black plastic one with a bendy tube/spout that fits into the filler just right.

Thumbs up

Hi, i used a bit of garden hose pipe and shaved the majority of the outer wall of so it would fit tight into the filler tube,
warm the new oil up cos its thinner and easier/quicker to pour, and whack your hose onto oil bottle spout thingy,, sorted, jobs a good un!.
