Which wire goes to which terminal? Tried brdevelopments but no answer.

IIRC the signal one is #1, and ground #2...meaning brown being #1 then.

I could be wrong though.

Ah...just try it mate, I've done that a few times, and haven't managed to **** either the mic or the knocklink itself.

Get someone to look at the leds, while you carefully tap the mic.

My sensors blown up!!!!!
Just kiddin, noticed that the plug which plugs onto the sensor has #1 and #2 on it, i was looking on the sensor for em. I decided using secretagents info to put the brown wire to #1.
Tried tapping the sensor before fitting it to the car and nothing happened, found the body of the sensor has to be earthed. Tried tapping again and SUCCESS!
Maybe it doesnt matter which way the wires go but didnt bother swapping them to find out.
Going to decide where to fit the box tommorrow, tempted to make a smaller box with the links LEDs in.
Cheers all. XXX

Had exactly the same question as you when I fitted one. It doesn't matter which way you connect the wires. The instructions lie as non of them is earthed.

Dyney - that's weird since I connected mine with the trial-and-error-method the last time...couldn't get a signal on the first try (well, there's sod's law fer ya - 50/50 chance ).

If you find a slim plastic box let me know, I've been looking to do this since I got mine. Can't find a suitable box

Thumbs up

Its something i might do if i find it difficult to see it where it is, just below stereo, above ash tray. So far it seems ok. However i will be sure to let you know if i find a suitable box.
