STI PPP With Decat ??
Now that some of you have already your PPP fitted on your STI7 is anyone running with a decat ??
Also would it be worth fitting the like of a dawes to control boost as I believe the pack contains a restrictor change like previous packs, I think from memory that some were using Dawes and Decat's on earlier PPP'd cars and the std. WRX to good effect.

I realise that this doen't answer your question, but it does pose another one, when applied the STi7s.
Given that many people would have PPP'd their cars as a way of increasing power, whilst at the same time retaining their warranty, how many would do it this way?
I've never been a great one for modifying my cars, but if you don't give a monkey's about the warranty, wouldn't it be better, not to mention cheaper, to forget the PPP?

The thing about the STi 7 is that is you put a full decat on it, you can get some serious boost spiking. If you were going to go full decat (and blow away your warranty), then the PPP would be a waste of money and you'd need to do something about the boost control as you say.
It's not as straight forward on the STi over the old model......

I'd be inclined to go for the Miltek (no boost spiking issues), plus "other stuff" plus Ecutek, if you want more perfomance than the PPP but if you're going custom map anyway, theoretically, if doesn't matter which exhaust you choose (within reason).
