Question

Sorry if this has been done before. I've got an end of line 240wrx GC8B48D manufactured July 94 just before the change to 260bhp.

How much boost should i be getting? with standard ecu with de-cat center TSL b,b, and an ITG filter.

Cheers, Roy

Sounds similar to my setup.

My car does spike boost a bit but (up to ~1bar) it holds about 0.89bar in 4th gear.

This is with HKS full decat, and HKS induction but otherwise standard on a 94 wrx.

I've just fitted a boost gauge to my 94 WRX RA and boost is peaking at 0.6bar and holding 0.5bar.

Does this seem a bit low?

Seems low to me, 0.5bar is about 7.2psi, pretty sure it should be higher, but then again I don't know what an RA runs.

(waiting to stand corrected by a perfect translation from bar to psi)

Thanks guys, last time it was ran with a calibrated boost guage it was showing .75 bar/.8 peeking ocasionaly. I looked on the Sidc faq, but couldn't find anything about boost presures. i'm sure later wrx's run at 1/1.1bar? so does this sound about right for mine or do i need at bit more?

Thanks, Roy
