I think you are looking at about £1k including vat for most, plus fitting.
Ask David and he may knock one up for you! IIRC the I/C core was about £250/£260.

I'm interested to hear from people who have fitted the above to early cars and what problem they experienced.
What kit did you use
How difficult was the conversion
Have you had any problems since fitting
Results with this setup
Costs involved

Do it!!!!!
Intercooler on early cars is cr@p. I fitted HKS and it was a piece of p1$$. Had to uprate my fuelling system though to run high boost as the injectors were being maxxed out. Car RR'd at 333BHP
and 300lbft. Downsides - none as yet

Hi,
I fitted the HKS kit to a 96 UK, but I didn't use the specified kit for the car. IMHO and according to the techie chap at HKS, the later model 97-98 WRX Kit is a much better flowing kit with less bends in it than the pre 97 kit. You have to cut a hole in your inner wing thought to feed the pipe through, as the 97-98 cars already have this. It's quite a big job to do yourself, but quite do-able.
I had other mods done at the same time, so difficult to gauge exact benefit. IMHO to make the most of one you'll need a mappable ECU too. The FMIC will allow you to run more boost with less risk of det, but you will need to make sure the fuelling is adequate.
Cheers

Those of you who bought a kit what sort of price region are we talking.
David W how much was the IC core and for somebody who does not own a TIG is the DIY route sensible ?
And David if you had to do it again would you bend the tubes rather than weld ?

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
p20spd is correct.. can possibly get them cheaper if you can put up with pace's customer services or distinct lack of.
A fabricators would weld it all up around here for less than £200
I would have bent the tube but the thickness of the tubing was too much... If I was doing it again I would get an exhaust fabricator to make it out of stainless and mandrel bend it all.. May change this yet
Make no mistake the square end tanks are staying.

I am thinking of doing the same mod to my MY00 but can't decide wether or not to get a hybrid turbo first or the FMIC as I cant afford both together???????
