Anyone know a source of Cibie Oscar SC lenses?

I need to replace a damaged reflector/lens and obviously don't want to buy the whole kit. Rang Scooby Mania and they are checking with MRT to see if they can get the lenses only

Surely must be other sources

Also posted in lighting but it's a bit sleepy down there thought I might get a better response here in mainstream

Thumbs up

I'm fairly sure Demon Tweeks do them, but ANY Cibie dealer SHOULD be able to get you one.
Advice: buy a set of covers from Scoobysport etc at the same time!:

Thanks for that, I tried EARS and DT neither seemed able to help however I got a pair from Classic and Rally Services C.A.R.S. http://www.cars.u-net.com/cibie.htm for around £30 each which I thought was quite good The originals were not damaged by stones but water had got into the light and the silvering has deteriorated in places

Question

Might be an idea to look at the back of the lamps, and see if there's anywhere obvious it can get in, then smear some clear silicone over it. It reminds me of the fact that my Cibies, (rallying days), always had a strip of electrician's tape round them, to seal the reflector to the rear, to stop water ingress.
BTW, the site you posted a link to is interesting.
BTW2, I still haven't got round to doing my lights/earthing, but am ordering the stuff next week.......you swine!! :

The SC's don't have any shells at the back and I think the previous owner didn't have any rubber covers over the bulb holders so I figure that's how the water got in I have some rubber covers now so that should be solved

SilverSmith aka Alcazars electrical nemesis (don't know what it means but it sounds good )
