The beast (stiv type r) has, over the last 10,000 miles, developed a knocking like a big end.

Any body got any idea of cost to repair or any personal recomendations for repairers?

Thanks John, do Prosport come with your recomendation for doing the job or is it just that they are near me and alright?

 

They have just rebuilt my gearbox and changed the ratios for me. They rebuilt a friends 22B engine after big end failure last year. They do a lot of engine rebuilds.

They are a proper Subaru specialist with all the right tools, jigs and manuals and know the cars well. I am happy to use them.

My knocking big end developed all a bit suddenly for my liking.

Good old Subaru Assist and Subaru Extended Warranties. Thank f*** they paid for a new engine.

 

Sorry Sieze, you cant post info like that, it is liableous. If you had a problem with a company, post facts, not feelings.

And this post was not related to prosport, it was a diferent garage sieze was refering to.
