what a complete waste of an oportunity for unbiased reporting.
The sombre background music and movie soundtracks did nothing to help the facts come out.
The real issues as to appropriate speed limits and driver education were completely missed.
a big dissapointment.
then again, should we expect anything different than a churning out of the next officialy spun propoganda.

What a muddled program!
OK there were a couple of good points in relation to speeding problems in built-up areas and reducing injuries to child pedestrians BUT........
A program discussing accidents in 30 mph zones and they show a presenter talking to a camera inside his car whilst driving. He was having to remember his lines so he really was concentrating on his driving, wasn't he. This was really good in a program concerned with driving standards!
Various police clips showing speeding in National Limit zones. Relevance to reducing 30 mph zones to 20mph zones?
Clip of speeding traffic in a 40 mph zone, 3 lanes each side and a central reservation and plenty of traffic going past above the speed limit. Not a pedestrian in sight. Relevance?
