I am picking up a MY01 in a couple of weeks and I am new to Scoobies, there is to much choice,

I want to release a good ammount of power, sound great but dont want it to deafen me on the motorway and want it to look damn good of course, which one do I go for, Scoobysport, Prodrive, Scoobymania, Power Eng, GGR.
DO I go for the full system, what are the benefits, negatives etc.

I just need a bit of independant advice.

Got to be honest i got a scooby sport full system fitted,with downpipe and no cats and the car goes like stink.It sounds the dogs and looks the part.The sound is just right for me but may be a bit raw for others but scooby sport do a quieter back box if you ask them. Hope this is some help

 

I got a cat back mongoose on my P1. Sounds great, not too loud cabin wise, but one of the best purr noise i heard on impreza. Scoobysport is a popular option for many owners, but i dont like the sound as much, think the mongoose is more tuneful.

Power wise, u would b better off with a full system, i hear that scoobysport have good down pipe etc etc, but then u have hassle come mot time.

 

Not to bothered about the MOT side as I am only going to be keeping it for 2 years Max.

Any idea how much the systems cost, IE, Mongoose, Scoobysport

 

s/sport in the region of £800 for the full system but check with them first !!
