I've got a 1997 WRX and recently a whistle sound is coming rom the gearbox. This is only in 5th gear, i've had it checked out and the news so far is the bearing is on it's way out. New gearbox i believe is required eventually.
Anyone out there who knows of a reputable company who could assist with this and any price guidelines would be of great help.

I think it will have to come to that, what sort of reddies are we looking at here, would it be the same spec as the one ive got?
