Question

Does anyone know the procedure, required parts (any special bits required?), and how difficult it is to fit a bigger intercooler (ie STI V version) onto a UK MY96 Engine (with the smaller 'slanted' IC)?

Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated, especially from anyone who's done this job themselves.

Thanks

Duncan

Sorry I dont, but hello again

At least you get a free BTTT

You could e-mail Pete Croney of Scoobysport, he will probably know the differences with the year of cars.

Regards, Andy.

If I'm not mistaken , he had to specially order a few parts to get the Intercooler in. Its unfortunately not a straight swap.

You're right. I've been in touch with Jonny and read his thread relating to the intercooler changeout. looks like he had to get some 'custom' hose lengths to fit, a longer undertray, and relocate the dump valve. Seen the pics too, its a tight fit alright but it's going to work (he said confidently!!!)...Oh Yes!
