I will shortly be receiving an STI7 BB to my replace my standard MY02 WRX pea-shooter with. Is it just a case of unscrewing the 2 bolts and taking it off the 3 rubber bungs? Will the STi7 BB just go straight on or will I need a gasket and/or some kind of sealant to ensure it is sealed properly?

Any advice would be very welcome.

Cheers!

dunno about the actual fittings / spacings but would have thought a new gasket wouldn't go amiss for a couple of quid - helps ensure a proper seal rather that hoping the old / rusty / broken one you've had to chisel off might work

best to clean up both sides of mating flanges before fitting to get old crud / gasket off (if any still on unless a branny one)

might also be an idea to use high temp moly stuff / grease on bolts to give you a chance of getting them off later...

can't remember whether they were aerotight nuts / nylocs / spring washers when I changed mine - better replacing first two with new-uns to make sure (although nylocs prolly not a good idea due to temps involved)
