It'll be fine,at1.6k there should be no problem. By the way, on a flat four the pistons will most likely appear from under the wheelarches! (Tell them what rev. limit you want)
Fantom I assume the HKS plugs were S35i? (Iridium) The price you quote is what I paid for them at TDI - It's actually the same as almost all other places!

OK. Ive just recived an e-mail saying the only day they have available is Saturday 23rd November.
We also need to put down a £200.00 deposit!
Thats 6 people in my book!
I will book it and collect monies on our next meet if OK. If its not conveient, ill arrange somewhere else!

 

i mite be interested to know what power and touque my type r's puting out before i get to mod it

 

i guess the tester has to take the revs almost to the limiter ?

Must admit I'd be happier at Power Engineering - you usually get a bacon roll and tea thrown in! Between us me and Chris have used the PE rollers about six times. Don't know about TDI but you can watch your engine hit 7k from close range at PE (Chris had a rather dissapointing experience at TDI with his Cosworth, but that was some while ago) We would both be interested though.

Darren, would love to come and try my standard WRX 2002 on the rollers but not too sure if I should - do they rag the cr@p out of it? it's only got 1600 miles on it and I don't fancy seeing any pistons flying through the bonnet just yet!

am I worried for a good reason or not?

 

They dont RAG it, but they do have to toe it to get a proper reading. And it is not for a long period either!
They dont sit at the red line if that is what you think!
Givin that your car has only 1600 miles it will still be tight and you may be a little dissapointed with the result, but its not to say you wont have a good enjoyable day! Im sure yours wont be the worst..Mine will!!!!!!!!!

I would come along but I just went to the power engineering one on saturday.
I must say I think TDi are crap. They gave my Corolla 131bhp where as PTS in luton gave it 155bhp with no difference in mods! Andthey totally conned me for spark plugs, £58 + VAT for 4. HKS ones the only ones that TDi do. I wonder why.

 

And ive used tdi for testing with no problems! If they want to sell you something you dont want......JUST SAY NO

I will need monies asap on this one as i need to put down a deposit next monday. So please, attend meet at the Black Horse, Brentwood on Thursday 18th from 7.30 with readies at the ready! A cheque is fine also made out to Flat four Impreza Club. For those wishing to pay by visa you will have to ring through to TDI, but please mentuion that you are attending with Flat Four...And ask to speak to MARK!

They are also limiting us to 15 cars. So its first come first served!
