magnatec is 5w40 me thinks, works ok in the winter but otherwise it breaks easy. Many people say its not fully synth. the salesman says it is, go figure?
Magnatec 10/40 is semi-synthetic and is fine for most modern engines. Many Subaru dealers use it at service. It would be perfectly good for the MX5 as would Mobil 0/40
