It started with a miss....
Thursday night on the way home from work. Just one missed beat. Friday morning it missed a lot more.... turbo didn't kick in.....
then no throttle response, it would barely tick over. !

Car is now resident in South Coast Performance in Douglas. Paul tells me there is a fault code on the ecu (didn't say what) but thinks it could be linked to a fault on the alarm.

Anyone had anything similar ? Btw, it's a my 99 Sti.

Ken

omg, I just looked at a previous thread about maf sensors, look at the price! Still, performance comes at a price.
Has someone got the number for the samaritans? Incidentally, what does the maf sensor do??

Think I found it. Mass Air Flow !

The price??? about £70 seems to be the normal price?? You think thats expensive, wait til your engine blows up, if you dont replace it.... that IS expensive.
