Defi Sports SVD???
#1
Hi folks -
Have any of you lot bought a Defi Sports SVD? For those who are wondering, it's a little Head Up Display projector (similar to the kind used in aircraft) that projects your speed, revs and shift/change lights onto the windscreen, rather than requiring you to look away from the road to check the instruments.
The UK distributor said that a load had been bought by the Supra and Scooby boys, so I'd like to ask if anyone has managed to convert the KPH reading into MPH, or has any ideas how to? The unit reads the pulses sent into the back of the speedo and converts them into a kph display - I want the figures displayed to relate to MPH, but have no idea how...
Jim.

There are two units DEFI do:
VSDII and Sports VSD(II?)
VSDII = allows mph/kph through the settings + only shows speed/rpm + leds on the screen.
Sports VSD(II?) = only does KPH, but does quarter mile timing, 0-60 etc..
I think you may have the Sports one... the UK distributor is http://www.nitosport.co.uk/

Umm you might not want to change the settings while moving either... I now have a max speed of 190mph. Not bad for a slightly modded MY01!
Did manage to get a "Knightrider" style light show going though!
Umm does anyone knw how to reset the High Speed?!
