Hi Jas

Thanks for reminding me.

unfortunately, we hit lots of brick walls on this. The only way companies seemed to be willing to do it is by means of a credit facility. This would unfortunately mean that ScoobyNet would have to manage all of the accounts and chase debts, etc and also be responsible for any bad debts, so it was something we couldn't do.

It seems strange though as we do not want credit, we just want a loyalty card. The companies we spoke to agreed to look into it, but it seems the most difficult thing is the pure logistics and the fact that their point of sale systems, etc are not set-up to handle it.

Damn shame.

But I will keep looking into it. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Cheers

Simon

I will start the ideas

Im more than willing to give you my bank details, with a direct debit instruction to collect any fuel costs that I use.

Other options are for scoobynet to hold a retainer against anyone who uses the card, if you had to charge them back.

AXA use PHH, with a direct debit for the total account, but if you could have a DD for each fuel card (cards are uniquely numbered) then that would be easy.

All in though, the discount would need to be more than 1% for me to use it, otherwise I may as well just stick with my Goldfish!
