Ladies,

Just bought a jap wagon MY01 in mica blue. Hooray. Been looking around to see if anyone has established what the jap spec WRX and 20K (this is what the WRX wagon is called in Japan) kicks out. Subaru claims 250 ps for both varients. This means they probably have a different turbo to the UK cars.

Does anyone out there own a jap new age car? And has anyone driven the 20K?

Engine spec it probably isnt much different from a UK WRX except it will have less cats and a different ECU. 250PS is about 245bhp which is about what a UK WRX PPP puts out on SUL, which has a remapped ECU and decat centre and backbox.

Work for MSP so I may put a fatter turbo on it then...
