Unhappy

I know there are a few parallel threads running on this topic, but today a young lady at my place of gainful employment was with me as I was looking through a car mag with a guy from the office.

I pointed out the Skyline and her reaction was "thats Japanese you don't want to buy Japanese, did you see that program the other night?"

What I'm driving at was the program was specifically pointed at Grey Imports (I am grinding know axe here ok) unyet the perception that's been created amongst the less informed of the populus is that it applies to all Japanese Cars.

Thanks Quentin.......

Agreed, and not great for our residuals having a 'special' hyped program at prime time saying 2/3 or gray imports are nicked (100,000 was the figure they quoted, of 150,000 imported - not likely to be true IMHO).

The program did nothing for me apart from being glad I bought a Scooby. They seemed to place most emphesis on 7 seater 4x4's, even the Mrs, to my surprise wondered what all the hype was about. I think I saw one Scooby bonnet vent.

I bet they wouldn't do a show on how many bent rollers they are in the Arab states, they all seem to have one and cost a hell of a lot more.
