is the blitz louder than a magnex 6x4 when it has the bung fitted?any feed back would be much appreciated

 

Easily.

 

With the bung fitted, it shouldnt be too bad. It really does make them quieter.

 

Trust me, I have one and have had for 15 months. Whilst making it way more bearable, it is still louder than the magnex and a Scoobysport one too, IMO.

 

I fitted a Blitz nur spec to mine and noticed no bung ?

 

Anyone whats this bung and where is it ???

 

It fits inside the tailpipe, and may either be bolted in, or riveted in, or not at all.
It reduces ( restricts ) the diameter of the exhaust, at the rear silencer. Clearly visible, if it is there.

 

Yep I thought so about 3" bore protrudes outof the back box finishes before the end of the tailpipe......I noticed a screw gonna have a look now.....

 

On my one and all of the Blitz's that I have come across that have the removable bung, you will have say a 6mm hole about 6 inches or so inside the tailpipe where the bolt would go through to hold the bung in place. I thought that only the 'R' came with the removable bung anyway...... Could well be wrong.

 

The magnex is a bit girly i found, not much louder than standard. However, whack a blitz on there - with a downpipe & it's volume level is obscene

Thought it was a bit strange when I got the Blitz that it was choked at the end. But I thought these japs know what there doin. Now removed sounds a lot more throaty and IMHO the best exhaust system on any car.....

 

what kinda sound is it when its fully decatted and a blitz on it?

is it throaty?
Grp N style?
what is it like?
I have heard the sound clips... but cant tell how loud its meant to be

 

Any of you guys know where to buy the bung only??!! I'd like to be able to bung mine for those qieter moments. I got the BB only.
