The camaraderie.

Counterstrike sessions (see non-scooby related).

Fantastic mpg.

A car that goes like a scalded cat but is reliable and warrantied.

The excellent dealer service.

Spot the odd one out!

Question

Steve,

Just spent a few minutes thinking.....can`t quite put my finger on it !!!!

Seriously, previous MY00 could have gone a few days after delivery - an initial disappointment but it did grow on me over the next year. Fortunate to have a P1 now, a totally different case in point - really is !
- it`s staying....

Looked at EVO`s but apathetic dealers put me off; one of them also sells Subarus - needless to say I did not go there !

Cheers

dont be put off, buy an evo.

Imprezas and evos are so similar, I dont think the push pull factors between them are significant enough. Not when you compare them to ther cars anyway.

Fuel/servicing/insurance are bad in both cases. Greys are more acceptable with the mistsi.

I get more waves from evo owners as they are all enthusiasts.

The community wot shun you for buying an evo, although the mlr might not accept you cos they are gits.

The only thing for me, is the character and sound of the engine. The evo, just doesnt have the roar.

Can put my finger on it what it is about both these cars though, indivuality and the sense that you bougth a car for its values as a drivers car, and didnt cop out buy buying a merc, bmw, audi, mondeo etc.

Nick,
Feeling left out & noodle less
Seriously tho, have always hankered after the
full 280Bhp.(yes I know I have enough trouble keeping 215 on the black stuff) but
just couldn't bear to part with the pink thing when faced with a serious proposition.
Could never get past "£31495 and sod all for yours" with the P1's either (not got Banshi's
tenacity you see).
Didn't have any trouble letting the Cossie go, not even a backwards glance, too busy grinning s'pose
