P1 Goes BANG ! ...... Update
All
As you might remember - I was following a P1 last week - at significant speed ! - & suddenly the P1 driver lost all power & had to pull up - unable to restart.
The worst was feared, but I popped in to see him last night & the news was good - apparantly an O ring on the crank shaft sensor had split - causing the engine to shut off all power. Very simple to fix & no major or lasting damage - everything now seems fine.
So no major engine failure on this one like a few others.
Ta
Ro.
PS. P1 driver says he will register on here very soon.

Cheers Ro,
That means that there is one less P1 with a blown engine. I think the tally was 6 but now it's back to 5. Thanks for the info Ro and it's good to hear that it was just a minor problem.
