I have looked at the dyno info and curious to know which figure is the most important.

Power@wheels?
Power@flywheel?
Torque@flywheel?

Which one is most relevant to increasing acceleration?

For the dyno's used in the UK I have come to the conclusion that the flywheel hp and flywheel torque are the figures to look at.

For increasing acceleration, torque at the wheels is the important one.

 

Dont forget the BS power figure for down the pub.

I was in a pub on Saturday night & was listening on a conversation, this guy has a 325 BMW with a 2.7 lump in it 300 horses blah blah just got beaten by a scooby blah blah getting his power uped and going hunting for that scooby again, they then described a scooby, saying it must be pushing 330Bhp etc, & said it was parked outside, mmmm then it struck me it was my car they were talking about, my lowly 93WRX which is running OK but not with 330.

how I laughed

Still if I can shut down a 300Bhp BMW and not know I was racing I must have at least 330, Anyone want to race ???
